When you really come to terms with hating yourself, you can embark on a tremendous amount of foods that are bad for you. More, you can prepare that bad-for-you food in even worse for you ways. Fry up some chicken skin, slap it on some cheese and tomato, then sandwich it all with lettuce and bread, and you’ve got yourself a real conundrum: vegetables mixed with pretty unhealthy fats and carbs. Maybe you don’t hate yourself. Maybe you only kind of do, because your emotions exist on a complex spectrum and you limit yourself if you choose all good or all bad. You’re a human. But chicken skin is still not good for you.
