Carrot Burger on hamburger bun

Two years into this site, I became obsessed with making a carrot-based sandwich. Obsessed is definitely too strong a word. Interested? Yeah. So I tried it once, and it was okay. But this is what I really wanted to do– take shredded carrot, egg, and breadcrumbs and form it into a patty I could cook on the stove top. Well, here it is. Looks like a chicken patty, I know, but it’s actually a pretty tasty (despite all fried things being so similar) version of our old American hamburger, but this is so flavorful, you don’t need any toppings.
