Turkey and Cheese on garlic knot
The proper reaction to this post is “Oh, good idea. But turkey?” Yeah, we didn’t make it, but we did love the garlic, oil, and parmesan flavors from the garlic knot bringing some deserved flavor to an otherwise uninteresting (albeit reliable) sandwich combination. I mean, it’s a garlic knot, so mayonnaise seems weird to add, but the garlic and turkey doesn’t feel right either. And that lettuce is awfully adorable, trying to make a visual difference, but mostly taking away from the profile. So we came, we saw, we ate, and we moved on. We’re going to go ahead and make our own knots, then throw some Italian delicacies in there– meatballs, chicken parmesan, salami, the delights go on…
