Peanuts Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving week, Blockhead. As you may remember from the classic cartoon special, Snoopy’s Thanksgiving is a little different than yours or mine. Working with what he’s got, he devised an interesting menu– one that lends itself well to sandwich form. Buttered toast makes up the levels, with a base of hard-to-control jelly beans, then a second layer of pretzel sticks and popcorn. It’s a collection of charming textures, complicated only by the chewy jelly beans contrasting with the salty crunch of popcorn and pretzel. Still, the buttery toast brings all elements together, like the turkey of a thanksgiving meal. Enjoy yours, and we’re thankful to have you.
