Chicken and greens on wheat
Where I live, there are no Saladworks Cafés, so whenever I travel through southeastern PA or NJ or anywhere else I see one, I try to stop. I’m not saying it’s the epitome of salad class, but it’s a healthier fast option than Wendy’s. That is, of course, unless you get there and they’re touting a sandwich special like this one. Seasoned chicken is the core of this well-crafted piece, bringing in the muted provolone cheese to balance the flavor-packed kale pesto, all harmoniously joined by the snap of crisp greens. Any other bread would just feel silly, so ask for wheat. Go ahead. Visit your local Saladworks. Do it for those of us who can’t.
