Taco style quesadilla

Among the finalists in the “what makes a sandwich?” game is the quesadilla. It’s primary ingredients between two bread-based ends. If you need more convincing, then take your traditionalist butt and browse the archives. Today we have taco-seasoned ground turkey combined with leftover whole corn and the tri-cheese blend of cheddar, montery jack, and colby, pressed in between two homemade wheat tortillas, which were a little heavy, if we’re honest. But all-in-all, it was a delicious reminder of what we can do when we take the leftovers from taco night and re-package them for our adoring fans. Sometimes a sandwich is practical and delicious.
