Sun Dired Tomato Turkey on grilled wheat

Rainy April days are here at last. What finer way to welcome them than with turkey covered in sun dried tomato? Once you unwrap the meat the aroma puts you in a state of hungry delirium– it’s hard to take the time to make the sandwich. But you do. You add sun dried tomato seasoning to oil and spread it on your wheat bread, just enough to coat it for grilling to a nice golden crisp. A thin coating of mayonnaise melts as it’s applied and you pile on as much of the turkey as you can. The scents, the crunch, the flavor. It’s a bright day in your mouth, despite the clouds over your head. You control how this day looks. You can dry the skies and part the clouds.
