Peanut Butter and Jelly on pancake

Have milk on hand when you face this tiny treat: the thickness of cakey pancake and the thickness of peanut butter can be a little much. The sweet, mixed-fruit jelly adds the real bit of flavor, but it sometimes squeezes out of the sandwich with all these dense ingredients going on. Still, when you’re taking a break from a new book, laying stomach down on the rug, a little mess doesn’t seem so bad. Someone will come along and clean it up, right? Sure, it’s probably you, but stay young as long as you can– in food and in spirit.
