Marjie’s Delight from Barley Creek Brew Company

On a weekend romp through the Pocono area, you might find yourself looking for a beer and a bite. Barley Creek Brew Company is here for you, with torches burning bight by their sign even in the freezing temperatures. Though we didn’t meet Marjie, we did enjoy her delightful sandwich (hold the onions for finicky tastes). Sliced turkey turned chipped when we substituted the ciabatta roll, and the smoked gouda melted nicely on top. Chopped apple lent a nice sweet bite to the savory meat and cheese. The dijon mustard sauce even spiced up portions when some of the apple ran out. A wonderful end to a day on the slopes or a marathon trip to the outlets, Barley Creek is the place to be.
