We hear you. Yes, it looks like another Thanksgiving sandwich, but perhaps you’re unaware of the rising tradition of Christmas Sandwiches in the UK. The idea is taking what would be a traditional Christmas feast and jamming it into sandwich form. Now in a country without our Thanksgiving, one might find a turkey, stuffing, and cranberries on the table. In this example, we put those three in between nine-grain bread that’s lathered with cranberry mayonnaise, and we’re left with the heartiest of sandwiches– certainly a meal in itself.
