Christmas Sandwich on nine grain

We hear you. Yes, it looks like another Thanksgiving sandwich, but perhaps you’re unaware of the rising tradition of Christmas Sandwiches in the UK. The idea is taking what would be a traditional Christmas feast and jamming it into sandwich form. Now in a country without our Thanksgiving, one might find a turkey, stuffing, and cranberries on the table. In this example, we put those three in between nine-grain bread that’s lathered with cranberry mayonnaise, and we’re left with the heartiest of sandwiches– certainly a meal in itself. Though we can’t find some Christmas goose, turkey always keeps us going. Happy holidays, sandwich-lovers!
