Oreo Cookies

Santa may be visiting your town tonight, so don’t forget to leave him milk and cookies. I know Santa prefers homemade cookies (or ones from Wendy Jo’s), but with the holiday rush you may have to pick up Oreos. An American classic, the chocolate cookies with cream in the middle make a perfect sugar sandwich. Whether you think of your youth– when your grandmother would give you one in the kitchen (naughty or nice– grandmothers love)– or you resent brushing your teeth so clean after you eat one, Oreos are always memorable. And maybe after all those homemade treats, a little classic dipped in milk is what Santa would like. So have a happy day, whether you’re celebrating Christmas tomorrow, Kwanza the next, or just chilling at home after Hanukkah, have an Oreo. Why not?
