Mushroom Burger II
This guest portrait comes from J.D. McCliment’s Scottish Pub in the progressive and free-minded land of Vermont. Where else could you find an abundance of grass-fred beef and an organic IPA beer? Put that slab of earthy burger on a perfect bun– soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside– and top it with seasoned mushrooms. You’ll have a sandwich that practically melts in your mouth. Contrast it with crispy french fries so that you don’t lose your grounding and forget that you’re right here on earth. Maybe it’s a beautiful, peaceful, perfect part of earth, but it’s still your home planet. Glug that beer and eat on.
